The Society Integration Foundation announced open call for project proposals on April 6, 2010. The target group of non-governmental organization projects are people of pre-retirement age and retired people, and / or children and youth subject to risk of social exclusion. These projects will be implemented with the financial support from Swiss-Latvian Cooperation Programme.

The objective of the Swiss-Latvian Cooperation Programme Grant Scheme „NGO fund” isto promote civil society's contribution to economic and social cohesion by supporting activities that improve quality of life of children and youth, which are subject to risks of social exclusion and poverty, as well as of seniors

Until the designated time: May 13, 2010 there were 455 project applications received (272 project applications for microprojects and 183 for macro projects).
