The main aim of the subproject is to foster competencies of 60 young people exposed to risks of social exclusion and poverty, by educating and involving them in activities of social and political participation,  thus  promoting  their  competitiveness  in  labor  market  and  educational  institutions.
The  target  group  of  the  project  is  youngsters  in  Ogre  district,  including  those  from  families  in need, unemplyed young people and those whose parents work and live abroad.
Subproject  will  be  implemented  in  Ogre,  Madliena and Suntaži. Within the framework of the project, young people will take part in non-formal learning activities and social theatre workshops, as well as take active part in formation of Ogre youth council. Besides that participants will plan and implement a local volunteering and development project. Alongside with the main activities, preparatory, evoluation and publicity activities will be carried out.
As a result of the subproject competitiveness of 60 youngsters exposed to risks of social exclusion and  poverty  will  be  promoted,  as  well  as  the  competencies  of  active  participation  in  their  local communities  fostered.  Young  people  will  be  better  equipped  to  participate  in  society  and  labor market, as well as to employ all resources available to them. As a result of cooperation among the members of local  communities Ogres district  will develop in  accordance  with ideas of resilience and sustainability.
